TIME: Is it running out?

Romans 13:11-14

11 “And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.  12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.  13  Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.  14  But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

Paul declared many years ago, while writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit that this wonderful thing that we call , “Time” was running
out!

In Verses 11-12 of our scripture reading he wrote “And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our
salvation is nearer than when we first believed.  12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. In 1 Cor 7:29, Paul Wrote another time - But this I say, brethren, “the time is short,”

Could this valuable thing called time be running out for Planet Earth? Are we reaching the Climax of all things? Are we close to the TIME - “When we will hear the whole creation groaning and travailing in pain.” as Romans 8:22 declares; Are we close to the TIME When “The Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout.” as 1 Thessalonians 4:16  declares; Are we close to the TIME  When we shall hear the heavens pass away with a great noise and the elements melting with the fervent heat.  As 2 Peter 3:10 declares; Are we close to the TIME When we will hear the sounds of Armageddon as Revelation 16:18 talks about; Are we close to the TIME when the Lord shall Stand upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east;  when the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by a very wide valley, as Zechariah 14:4 talks about.

Yes I personally believe as I look around that our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.  Yes the night is far spent, the day is at hand. And it is a late hour, therefore more than ever before we ought to cast off the works of darkness, and put on the armor of light.

More than every before we ought to walk properly, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But, YES PUTTING on the Lord Jesus Christ, and making no provisions for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

Why?  Because Time is Short! Jesus is Coming! And we need to be Ready for that day!
